"The Woman Before"

When Lighting Designer, Johanna Town wanted to create the illusion of a window, back in time, during the recent production of Roland Schimmelpfennig's "The Woman Before" at the Royal Court Theatre in London, her first thought was to use neon, however after recognising the problems of high voltages on stage and the fragile nature Neon Tubes, she turned Chamaeleon to seek an LED solution. The product chosen was our Ultra Bright Green, Elektor- FLEX system, connected to a DMX controlled DC PSU, enabling simple integration with the theatres stage lighting controls. The effect created was stunning and even gained a mention by Theatre critic, Paul Taylor in his review for the "Independent" newspaper.
