A powerful, compact, efficient, robust system, the S-1 Modular Optical Array consists of a weather proof and water resistant housing, a revolutionary new HIVE RGB light engine, a power supply and a DMX512 interface. The HIVE (High Intensity Vorticular Enclosure) module marks a new direction in solid state lighting. Three high power LEDs (one in each primary color) are grouped in a housing that includes collimating optics, electrical interconnections and thermal management. The entire system draws only five watts, while it produces a powerful beam of light that can be shaped with any of six diffusion optics. The system can operate in or outdoors and can even withstand submersion. It rotates on three axes for precision focusing. The system is controlled by DMX512 signals from industry standard controls. Internal adjustment enables individual white balance settings to be made in each module. |
